With a "work from home" week, I had a real itch to go on a camping trip at Joshua Tree, CA.  I visited about 10 years ago and was excited to return to do a bit more exploring. The area was completely full and quite difficult to get a campground even on NYE. Nonetheless, I was glad to see families out enjoying the wilderess.
